Day one and two.

Wed the 15th. June not much happening.  The Missouri River had I-29 flooded and closed, Rock Port MO to Missouri Valley IA. We had to detour up US59 highway, not really out of our way but rougher than a cob.  We stayed at a IA State Park, Prairie Rose, at a lake that was very nice.  Wed the 16th, continued  through IA and into SD staying in Murdo, SD.  We came through Missouri Valley, IA and the entire city was sandbagged, no water yet.  Pictures at a Rest Area on I-90 over looking the Missouri River that has been dammed and turn into a lake.  All that water is headed for IA, NE, MO and into the Mississippi. One couple we met had come through Pierre, SD and stated that the whole city was sand bagged.  It's 8:36 PM and raining like the dickens but we're nice and dry.
